The Ohio Association of Cemeteries began in 1937. The purpose of the association is to promote the proper development, management, operation and permanent care of cemeteries and operation of funeral homes in the State of Ohio

What is the OAC&F?

The Ohio Association of Cemeteries and Funeral Homes is dedicated to promote and maintain the highest ethical standards in all of our relations with the public; and to foster a spirit of camaraderie among the providers in the death care industry.

In 1999 the OAC decided to incorporate funeral homes into its membership since cemeteries and funeral homes are now combining their efforts in the death care industry. The name was changed to Ohio Association of Cemeteries & Funeral Homes to reflect this change. The association is made up of cemeteries, funeral homes, and suppliers of cemetery goods and services.
